Aren't you just thankful of Saddam that he came out and admitted to his crime?
I can tell you who is more delightful though, American administration and their European allies.. Why???

Ok let’s have a look at why out of all atrocities that Hussein committed, the main focus of his trial was execution of 148 shie’ts years ago?? The simple answer is because there is no way he can include/mention Yanks and French in it. He can not admit that they have supplied him with bullets to kill and bulldozers to dig the mass graves and so on, which reveals more of their involvement and support for Saddam.

Why didn’t they start his trial with massacre of Halabcheh were he gassed his own people thank to Mr. Chirac generous dose of under priced chemical weaponry, why the focus of the trial isn’t the invasion of Iran? Why isn’t it crime against humanity and what he committed against Kurds and Assyrians and so on??? The reason is if any of the above mention topics come up, Saddam will reveal the involvement of his ex-allies and stir the shit even more, it’s kind of like opening a can of worms.

The so called justice system of Iraq which is surpassingly being run by Iraqi administration of the republic of Iraq (thanks to the liberators) is addressed on what topics to set as the aim of the investigations resulting in trials.

Wait and see, it is known to everyone that Saddam is not going to get a death sentence (as much as everyone would absolutely love it), but he is going to get a long sentence to serve and will disappear from the surface of the earth, (may be sharing residence with President Bush? or become next door neighbor of Osama in heavily guarded facilities in Jordan??). No one knows yet, even those who appear to run the show.
