Muslim head girl at NZ Catholic school
That’s what I absolutely love about this country.
The understanding among a large portion of the population is higher than ever.
In a world that everyone is being judge by their colour of skin, religion and …, Kiwi academics proved to posses more understanding and not let minor differences overrule the real values.
No wonder NZ is moving forward fast despite being such a small country at the end of the world. Actions like this confirms that moral haven't lost its place in NZ yet.
It is good to see that it is not all about hatred!!
It is amazing that a very high number of broadcasting (Foreign based broadcasting) agencies covered the chaotic scene of radicals demonstrations in front of Danish embassy in Tehran (Iran) in order to amplify the wild nature of warmonger Iranians, but non of them bothered reporting something different that is happening for change.

The biased reporting has always been biting Iran in the ass and once again we see it happening. I was reading news from inside Iran where I bumped into this.

It is about an artist who is an Iraq-Iran war veteran with severe disabilities (acquired during the war), campaigning in front of Danish embassy in Tehran (in freezing cold weather) working on his painting which appears to be of Virgin Marry. The message behind all this is “inter-religions mutual respect” and a display of respect for people of other religions by ordinary Iranians.

There is no doubt about the mistreatment of religion minorities in Iran in the past and even present, but it shows how ordinary citizens with no political implication in mind feel toward other nations and religions.

I personally have spent a fair amount of my early schooling in Iran and throughout years, we never studied anything, but respect for Christianity and Judaism and their messengers and followers.

It doesn’t take anyone with more than a two-digit I.Q to understand that even though some countries are classified under a “republic” or “democratic” titles, the government actions does not necessary represent its of its people.

Any thought on that???

Investment opportunities ……. Dollar making anyone??
The world have got to a point that basically humanity is meaningless, and the dollar is doing the talking everywhere. Many may agree that the word war in our dictionary has a synonym in others (George W Bush, Tony Blair, Iranian and Israeli leaders..) dictionary, and that is “Long term investment”.

I mean come on in a country where thousands of people are getting laid off or made redundant monthly, who with the minimal common sense would spend billions of dollars in “liberating” other “unfortunate” countries that are threatening the world peace? Isn’t it just like investing money on a guaranteed value added revenue generating business?

Apparently Bush have said that, in order to keep the price of petrol under control in US during the time of crisis, US will access some of it’s own reserve toward preventing the oil price hike .I saw a funny drawing on the Auckland newspaper a couple of days ago reciting Bush:” In order to keep the price of oil down within US, our government will access some of it’s own reserve in Iran”.
I'll write more on the subject Oil and how a maniac called Ahmadinejad is going to give a lump away shortly.

Oh well, to hell with them all. Enough of nagging I guess.

Shame on you prime minister Blair... shame on you...
How would you like your country to get "liberated" (Read it invaded) by foreign troops in search of nothing but financial gains and you watch your fellow countrymen (deffenceless teenages) getting kicks in the nut on camera??

As much as I hate the current regime in my home (Iran) and I can not wait for their time to come to get their ass kicked, I don't know how I'll be reacting toward such images showing kids getting beaten up or humiliated for the joy of some ruthless lunitecs?

The dark shadow of mullahs have been affecting everyones life in Iran for the past twenty seven years andpeople are looking for some kind of liberation. Some hope US will fix it, some other hope UN will take action, but you and I know that non of the above mentioned would do anything unless there is a lump benefit in it (you can not really blamethem can you)??

Cartoons, cartoons and cartoons
Cartoons have been the hot topic at work these days and since Wellington based newspaper "Dominion post" had actually published them all, nowadays Wellingtonians feel even more globalise and they perceive themselves as people whom actually have a role to play in this messed out world. It is funny how people become master debaters over night.

Anyway, discussion was hot and I was not interrupting at all, not even a word. I rather listen and enjoy, 'Coz regardless of what I say my thoughts will be viewed biased due were I hailed from (Iran). Surprisingly some had valid points and it was great to see that in this society the attitude is changing and people are brightening up (Is it because of the labour lead government?? Because I'm sure NZ wouldn't be anything but a Yanks puppet if "National" won the election last year).

Anyway the conversation progressed and people were yapping pro and anti so called "freedom of speech" and that is when I felt like I should say a word or two and contribute. I just said three words and that was "F#@k You All". Surprisingly all burst out laughing thinking it is one of those moments when I am busy with something and the background noise is bugging me and disrupting my concentration. Then I repeated myself saying "No, honestly, F#@k You All, this is freedom of speech isn't it?" And that's when some got the point and some other gave me the look .I actually managed to get a couple of middle fingers rose in my face.

I explained myself further that I absolutely don't give a damn and frankly wasn't much offended by the cartoons and all the crap, I mean at the end of the day I have no religion which means I have minimised the chance of being offended.
But I yapped on further about how I see the difference between "Freedom of Speech" and "Defamation" . And no responsible citizen has the right to defame others and the defamed one shouldn't go out in the street barking and setting things on fire and capturing embassies and all the rest of it. I mean after all we all have to live side by side and respect our individuality.

I better stop now.
Come on Mr President, it is Library and not Liberty.
G W Bush’s speechwriters and his ability to read has been a hot topic ever since he set foot into the house in Washington. But this time it is amusingly funny.
During his speech he was “revealing” how Al Qaida maniacs were plotting a suicide attack (Read it virgin acquiring mission) on western America, mainly on LA. Mr president got his tong tangled and he read library tower, liberty tower, and he kept straight face until one of his aids helped him out to correct himself.. anyway, read the full story here
